Omni Version 12.9 – April 2010

The main changes are:

1.     Reclaiming tax deducted on investments – R63N claims and SA970s can be managed with tax receipts being created automatically for each scheme.

2.     Settings. Extra settings have been added for Storing Bank Data Feeds.

3.     The SMPI module automatically includes any regular contributions

4.     Proposed pension payments are checked against the pension limits each time the ‘Reports, Gross Pension’ report is run.

5.     Replacement staff – if an administrator leaves, a new person can be assigned to all that person’s schemes and diary entries, via the Worklog module

6.     Pension Schemes Online settings -  allows you to store different login details for practitioners or administrators for each scheme

7.     Annual Statements have more fields available for merging to Word documents.

 

Additional features have been added to the XL Reports module:

·         All schemes with borrowing

·         All properties and all tenants

·         Lists of Annual statements to be done can be added to the Worklog (if you subscribe to that module)

·         New reports for Pre-retirement packs (OMO), plus adding records to the Worklog

·         Full details have been added to the bank accounts list

·         The report for Finstat codes shows the latest prices stored

·         The SA970 report includes the dates of all reports submitted, as well as those not submitted

·         Reports previously under Quality Control on the ‘Miscellaneous’ tab have been moved to other places.

·         A report on all cancellation notices for drawdown not issued has been added to ‘Cancellation and Identity’ on the Miscellaneous tab.

 

Minor changes include:

 

·         Contributions and rent transactions are not shown in Regular General Expected Transactions

·         Segregated Portfolios in investment valuations are adjusted for transactions that take place after the latest stored value
